This is a still life I did this morning, I tried using gouache just to change things up. The purpose of these is so that I can hopefully get a new take on how to render objects and see light and color which I can then bring to my illustrations.

Still life 3
This is todays still life done in oil using a limited pallet And I tried to use thicker paint. It took around a two hours, and isn't really my most favorite piece. Some of the items aren't super recognizable that might be why. Below are some character clothing concepts for a story I'm working on dealing with a pair of detectives in the twenty second century.Tuesday, December 20, 2011
Carnifex Versus Deathwing

This is a piece I did depicting a Tyranid Carnifex attempting to devour a Deathwing terminator. When at the last minute the mortally wounded terminator using his chainfist slashes the soft neck tissue of the ferocious creature. This was done in photoshop over a pencil sketch.
