Last Stand of Ferrus Manus

   The Iron hands make their landing on 5^th planet of the Isstvan system, in an attempt to bring to account the traitorous followers of the Warmaster Horus Lupercal.  Ferrus Manus finds his brother Fulgrim in the midst of the chaotic melee to settle a score, and bring him to account for his treachery.

   This is a giant digital painting I’ve been working on for the past few weeks. I really wanted to try and push myself to do much more detail than I normally do, while still trying to make the Primarchs the center of attention.. I liked the idea of having a pile of Space Marines casualties from both sides laying around in the foreground to show the carnage of the Drop Site Massacre.

Primarch of 8th Legion

 I got the Night Haunter done, a lot of people at Naka-Kon were very happy, I had no idea he was so popular. I will most likely get the Kahn done next hopefully before Planet Comicon next month. I am exhausted from the convention, I'm going to relax for a bit then get the Xenofera cover done and off to the printers.

Konrad Curze

 Konrad Curze is my least favorite of all the primarchs, and this the 5^th piece in the Primarch series I’m working on. Here he is on the peaceful planet Ultramar running rampant creating chaos. I took a break from Xenofera yesterday and drew this guy up. I’m hoping I can get him all colored and ready to go by Naka-Kon which is less than 2 weeks away.

The Primarchs /Getting Back Into the Swing of Things

I thought I’d try this again since its almost been 3 years since my last post. What better way to kick this off than by showing the Primarchs I’ve been working on. For those of you not familiar with the Warhammer 40k (30k) universe the Primarchs are the sons of the Emperor of mankind and founders of original 18 Legiones Astartes.

These guys are all traitors and I hope to, in the near future, paint some of the good guys.

I’ll be posting some more updates by the end of the week showing some more updates and I want to show off some new art for a personal card game I’m working on that should be going live on KIckstarter, sometime later this year.
